Goode Properties Inc. began its history with the name Texas Feeds Ltd. Established in 1966 by Al Goode, Texas Feeds operated in the agriculture and transportation industry buying spent grains from breweries throughout Canada and the United States and selling them to farmers for cattle feed. With competition mounting and the industry becoming less profitable, Al, together with his wife Shirley, formed ASG Management & Investment Ltd. to diversify the business.

This new company, incorporated in 1972, managed the existing operations and sought new investments. As a result, two properties were purchased; a 2,100 acre ranch in Vernon, BC and a 3 acre industrial site in Kelowna, BC. Approximately 1,400 acres of the Ranch was subdivided and sold and construction started on the industrial site.

35 years later the company donned a new name, Goode Properties Inc., and is still family owned and operated. The buying and selling of spent grains expired early in the new millennium and the company’s focus shifted to the development and management of current and potential property assets.

Goode Properties Inc. currently manages approximately 38,000 square feet of industrial warehouse space with an additional 30,000+/- square feet of industrial space proposed to break ground in the spring of 2019. In addition to the industrial properties, a small residential infill lot was acquired and subdivided with three custom designed homes constructed – The project completed and the last home was sold in the spring of 2018.
